Khu kinh tế Nhơn Hội thu hút được 150 dự án với tổng vốn đầu tư đăng ký khoảng 175.000 tỷ đồng.
Theo đó, UBND tỉnh Gia Lai cho biết thời gian qua, thực hiện chỉ đạo của Tỉnh ủy, UBND tỉnh, Ban Quản lý Khu kinh tế tỉnh đã phối hợp với các sở, ngành và địa phương đẩy mạnh triển khai đầu tư hệ thống hạ tầng kỹ thuật tại Khu kinh tế Nhơn Hội, đặc biệt là khu vực bán đảo Phương Mai, gồm: tuyến đường trục Khu kinh tế nối dài, hệ thống cấp điện, cấp nước, xử lý nước thải, hạ tầng tái định cư và các khu chức năng theo quy hoạch được duyệt.
Bên cạnh đó, Ban Quản lý Khu kinh tế đã chủ động thực hiện nhiều hoạt động xúc tiến đầu tư, giới thiệu tiềm năng quỹ đất sạch, cải cách thủ tục hành chính, hỗ trợ nhà đầu tư tiếp cận thông tin quy hoạch, pháp lý dự án, góp phần tạo môi trường đầu tư thuận lợi và minh bạch.
Kết quả đến nay, trên địa bàn Khu kinh tế Nhơn Hội đã thu hút được 150 dự án, với tổng vốn đầu tư đăng ký khoảng 175.000 tỷ đồng, giải quyết việc làm cho khoảng 9.000 lao động, đóng góp đáng kể vào việc phát triển kinh tế - xã hội của địa phương.
Trong thời gian đến, để tiếp tục phát huy hết tiềm năng, lợi thế của Khu kinh tế Nhơn Hội, UBND tỉnh sẽ chỉ đạo Ban Quản lý Khu kinh tế tỉnh tập trung triển khai một số nhiệm vụ, giải pháp trọng tâm.
Cụ thể, tiếp tục rà soát, cập nhật và điều chỉnh các đồ án quy hoạch phân khu chức năng trong Khu kinh tế, đảm bảo phù hợp với định hướng phát triển mới của tỉnh và nhu cầu thực tế của nhà đầu tư, đồng thời bảo đảm tính đồng bộ giữa quy hoạch xây dựng, sử dụng đất và hạ tầng kỹ thuật.
Đẩy mạnh xúc tiến đầu tư, lựa chọn các lĩnh vực ưu tiên như công nghiệp công nghệ cao, công nghiệp hỗ trợ, du lịch nghỉ dưỡng, đô thị sinh thái, thương mại - dịch vụ gắn với bảo vệ môi trường và phát triển bền vững; tăng cường kết nối với các đối tác chiến lược, tổ chức xúc tiến chuyên đề tại các thị trường tiềm năng.
Tập trung đề xuất, kiến nghị với các bộ, ngành Trung ương bố trí nguồn lực đầu tư các công trình hạ tầng giao thông đối ngoại, hạ tầng kỹ thuật khung, các khu tái định cư tập trung và hạ tầng thiết yếu khác nhằm tạo điều kiện thuận lợi để thu hút và giữ chân các nhà đầu tư chiến lược.

Với chiều dài tuyến hơn 115km, dự án đường sắt tốc độ cao Bắc – Nam đi qua tỉnh Gia Lai đang bước vào giai đoạn then chốt: cắm mốc, kiểm kê, lập quy hoạch, đền bù và chuẩn bị khởi công 4 khu tái định cư vào giữa tháng 8/2025.
