Nhà máy sản xuất đồ chơi LEGO đã hoàn thành 90% và dự kiến vận hành vào đầu năm 2025.
Mới đây, Tập đoàn LEGO đã công bố tiến độ của Nhà máy sản xuất đồ chơi của LEGO 1,3 tỷ USD tại Bình Dương, đang bước vào giai đoạn hoàn thiện. Dự án đã hoàn thành 90% các hạng mục xây dựng và lắp đặt, dự kiến sẽ khánh thành và đi vào hoạt động đầu năm 2025, tạo ra hàng nghìn việc làm cho người lao động trong khu vực.
Với diện tích 44ha, nhà máy bao gồm khu vực văn phòng, trung tâm năng lượng, khu sản xuất và kho hàng tự động. Nhà máy vận hành sẽ đạt mức công suất 30.000 tấn sản phẩm mỗi năm.
Bên cạnh việc cung cấp cơ hội việc làm, LEGO còn cam kết vận hành nhà máy theo tiêu chuẩn bền vững. Nhà máy lắp đặt hơn 12.400 tấm pin mặt trời với công suất 7,34 MWp, giảm thiểu khí thải và hướng đến mục tiêu không rác thải chôn lấp bằng cách sử dụng túi giấy thay cho túi nhựa trong dây chuyền đóng gói.
Trong những năm gần đây, Bình Dương đã đạt được nhiều thành tựu trong thu hút đầu tư nước ngoài. Bình Dương hiện là điểm đến hấp dẫn cho các doanh nghiệp FDI, đặc biệt là các tập đoàn quốc tế lớn. Ngoài LEGO, các tập đoàn như Aeon (Nhật Bản), Tetra Pak (Thụy Điển), Pandora (Đan Mạch) cũng đã đầu tư mạnh vào khu vực này.
Từ đầu năm tới nay, Bình Dương đã thu hút 96 dự án mới, 60 dự án điều chỉnh tăng vốn và 62 dự án góp vốn mua cổ phần. Trong số hơn 20 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ có nhà đầu tư tại Bình Dương, trong đó các nhà đầu tư đến từ Singapore dẫn đầu với gần 309 triệu đô la Mỹ, chiếm 37,5% tổng vốn đăng ký.
Lũy kế đến nay, toàn tỉnh hiện có 4.322 dự án đầu tư từ 65 quốc gia và vùng lãnh thổ với tổng vốn đăng ký gần 41 tỷ đô la Mỹ. Bình Dương hiện đứng thứ 3 trong cả nước về thu hút vốn đầu tư nước ngoài, sau TP Hồ Chí Minh và Hà Nội.
Được biết, hiện nay, Bình Dương có 29 khu công nghiệp, với tổng diện tích 12.663 hecta, tỷ lệ cho thuê đất đạt 93,3% và 12 cụm công nghiệp với tổng diện tích 790 hecta, tỷ lệ cho thuê đất đạt 67,4%, đáp ứng được yêu cầu thu hút, bố trí các dự án đầu tư.
Một trong những khu công nghiệp thế hệ mới là Khu Công nghiệp Việt Nam - Singapore (VSIP 3), thu hút nhiều nhà đầu tư quốc tế, đặc biệt là trong lĩnh vực công nghệ cao. Hiện nay, khu công nghiệp này có hơn 30 công ty quốc tế quan tâm với tổng vốn đầu tư dự kiến lên đến 1,8 tỷ USD.
Một huyện của Bình Dương sẽ có thêm gần 3.000ha đất khu công nghiệp
UBND tỉnh Bình Dương vừa ban hành Quyết định số 2973/QĐ-UBND phê duyệt đồ án quy hoạch xây dựng 18 cụm, 4 khu công nghiệp với tổng diện tích gần 3.000ha ở huyện Phú Giáo.
Bình Dương có thêm khu công nghiệp 523ha, tạo việc làm cho 26.000 lao động
Khu công nghiệp Đất Cuốc có quy mô 523ha tọa lạc tại huyện Bắc Tân Uyên. Sau khi đi vào sử dụng, khu công nghiệp này sẽ cung ứng việc làm cho 26.000 người lao động.
