Gần 182 ha đất Nghệ An chuẩn bị nhường chỗ cho dự án 52,5 triệu USD

VSIP (Vietnam – Singapore Industrial Park) là liên doanh giữa Becamex IDC (Việt Nam) và Sembcorp Development (Singapore), nổi tiếng với mô hình khu công nghiệp gắn liền với đô thị và dịch vụ. Tại Nghệ An, VSIP đã tạo dấu ấn với hai dự án quy mô lớn: VSIP Nghệ An 1 ở Hưng Nguyên và VSIP Nghệ An 2 tại Diễn Châu.

VSIP Nghệ An 1, khởi động từ năm 2015 với quy mô 750 ha, vốn đầu tư 359 triệu USD, hiện đã lấp đầy khoảng 95%. Khu công nghiệp này đã hoàn thiện gần như toàn bộ hạ tầng, trở thành điểm đến hấp dẫn cho 53 dự án thứ cấp, trong đó có 33 dự án FDI với tổng vốn 2 tỷ USD. Khu đô thị – dịch vụ đi kèm cũng đang dần thành hình, góp phần định hình diện mạo một đô thị công nghiệp kiểu mẫu.

Tiếp nối thành công đó, VSIP triển khai Khu công nghiệp Thọ Lộc – giai đoạn 1 (VSIP Nghệ An 2) tại Diễn Châu, quy mô 500 ha, vốn đầu tư 164,6 triệu USD. Hiện dự án đã hoàn thành hơn 13% khối lượng san lấp mặt bằng và thu hút được dự án lớn đầu tiên: Mega Textile Vietnam của Tập đoàn Best Pacific International Limited.

Chỉ tính riêng năm 2024, Nghệ An đã thu hút gần 1,75 tỷ USD vốn FDI, đứng thứ 8 cả nước; riêng VSIP Nghệ An đóng góp tới gần 1,4 tỷ USD với 8 dự án FDI mới. Tính lũy kế, các khu công nghiệp của VSIP tại Nghệ An đã thu hút 54 dự án thứ cấp, tổng vốn đăng ký đầu tư lên tới hơn 64.700 tỷ đồng, trong đó vốn FDI đạt 2,59 tỷ USD, chiếm hơn 53% tổng vốn FDI toàn tỉnh.

VSIP 3 là một trong 14 dự án nằm trong danh mục thu hồi đất được HĐND tỉnh thông qua tại Kỳ họp thứ 32 vừa qua, đánh dấu bước đi tiếp theo trong hành trình biến VSIP thành “điểm sáng” công nghiệp của tỉnh.

Với dự án này, tỉnh kỳ vọng sẽ tiếp tục tạo cú hích lớn cho thu hút đầu tư, hình thành thêm một cực tăng trưởng công nghiệp mới, củng cố vị thế Nghệ An như trung tâm công nghiệp mới nổi của miền Trung.
